Hi Sue Thanks for taking time to look for me but i have Johns parents being John Smith and Hannah Randle. Ellens parents as John Edden and Mary Ann Franklin . I am trying to find out if they stayed in Attleborough until they died as i have various dates and places for their deaths but trying to narrow it down before ordering certificates. I found one in Nuneaton for a john smith 1919 and Wondered if they did stay there. Also got one for Ellen in Lutterworth 1924 and if i have guessed the one for John right then maybe Ellen moved as Edden And George Edden were in that area i think . I know Edden was in Willey in 1911 and in 1919 . He married in Nuneaton in 1911 and must have moved there after marring as both he and Ethel worked there. They lived in Cloudersly Cottage as that is on there marriage certificate so maybe Ellen went there . George married Sarah Ann Beech from Hillmorton about the same time. I know they lived at one time in Claybrooke but as from when i dont know. George died in 1944 after which sarah in about 1945-49 went to live with her son and his wife until her death in 1960. So i am wondering if Ellen lived with one of them until her death. Thanks again any help appreciated Tarnya

Sue Yes thats my Uncle . They went on to have 3 more children one of which was Jean my mum she was born in Nuneaton i think . Edden was not on the 1901 census for some reason and i have no trace of him between 1919 and his death in1957. Rumour has it that in about 1926 he left Gran . Gran at some time in the 50s i think lived in Westbury Road Stockingford Nuneaton and stayed there until she died in the early 80s i think. Maybe Ellen did live with them and he left when she died !!. As for George ans Sarah they to were my grandparents as my mum and dad Jean Smith and George Edden Smith were 1st cousins so i thought Ellen and Johns death would be easy to trace . Can you tell me what family tree you found it on . Tarnya
