Hello
Can anyone help trace Reuben A Benham born approx 1884 in Alresford, Hampshire?

He was mentioned in the 1891 census aged 7 years but disappeared in the 1901 and no trace of him has been found.   His father was William and mother, Mary Ann (nee Pullinger).  We believe that he served in the army but no records of him can be found, including birth certifcate.

If anyone has any suggestions on other options for searching I'd be grateful (I'm a newbie so apologies if I've put this in the wrong place).
