Hello There!

Can anyone help me find two people from Darlington area in England who may have gone to Canada after 1936?   Huh

Ronald Joseph Spencer born Darlington 1908
Kathleen (Bushby) Spencer his wife born Stockton 1914

I cannot find them in England or New Zealand so trying Canada as rumour has it some of the Spencers from York and Darlington may have gone to Canada?   Huh

 - first place to look for people leaving the UK is here.  In 1939, I can see both a Ronald Spencer (30) and a Kathleen (24), heading to Wellington - could this be them? It's possible they didn't remain in NZ and left - http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,268927.0.html but over here it seems some people have found them for you, were these not the right pair?

Tried all day yesterday to get onto rootschat...it wasn't working! So glad to see it's ok and working today!.

I found these two on findmypast too. Had been onto NZ Library and found the Ronald Joseph Spencer and wife Kathleen Spencer were cremated in Auckland. Ronald 1984 and Kathleen 1992. Also this Ronald Joseph Spencer was born Auckland 1908? not Darlington England in 1908 as mine was.

Northcity Council gave me info that puts these two living at the same address 1984 and 1992. I have contacted the Funeral Director, but no reply to date? Huh They may not tell me anything?
Two possible Ronald Joseph Spencer's (born same year) married to a Kathleen, interesting!

Another family rumour was that some of the family (Spencer's) went to Canada? No idea where to start looking as I have not had to find anyone in Canada or America before.

The two Spencer's that went to Wellington New Zealand I still cannot find?
So may have to wait and see if a decendant contacts me oneday!  Roll Eyes
