Woodward and Capel? Completed
« on: Thursday 22 November 07 12:27 GMT (UK) »

I'm trying to trace the parents of Lucy Frances Woodward who was born in Marylebone, London in 1815. The IGI gives her parents as James and Alice Woodward and the 1861 census reveals that Alice was born in Winslow around 1782. I have no info on James as he was already dead by 1841.

I have found a marriage with Alice Capel in Newton Longville on 12 October 1800 but then there is a christening of Alice Capel in Swanbourne in 1775 so these dates don't seem to tie in well.

Can anyone help me here?

Hi

Did Lucy marry someone with the surname DUCK?

If so got them in the 1851 census, if you haven't already got it

Jenny

It turns out that James Woodward married Alice Mobbs in 1804 in Winslow. Thanks all.
