Trying to find the marriage of Nicholas Reed b 1781, Clayhidon, Devon.
I think he married c 1803 to Sarah Unknown, c 1793 Clayhidon, Devon. Married in Upottery.
First child William was born in 1817 and the last child, Frances was born in 1840. All born in Upottery, Devon.
Don`t know alot about this side of the family as i have just started to research it.
In particular i`m interested in Harriet Reed b 1832, Upottery. Daughter of Nicholas and Sarah.

it's possible they weren't maaried in Upottery, if you look at this:

Hi Nicola
This is no help with your present enquiry but I am directly descended from a Joan Reed from Meshaw Devon, so when you get back a couple of generations to 1701, when she was born, or 1722, when she married William Torrington in Mariansleigh, Devon, get in touch

Hi,
Nicholas and Sarah(Davey) were married in Clayhidon in 1814 and had a daughter Charlotte in 1815 before moving to Upottery where they show on the church records

Nicholas Reed was my Gt x2 Grandfather.Looking for any Info.
Harriet was in an Institutoin in 1851 (Digby) because she was pregnant !

Can`t seem to find an institution in Digby. With what child was she pregnant?
I have Mary 1858 being her first born with Eli Northam. Can you give me any more info?
