woodcock and last

Looking for any info. on a Mr. Woodcock, landlord of the Greyhound at Scole c. 1911 and on Henry Last, landlord of the Horseshoes, Tibenham, same date.

could find nothing for a Henry Last, Horseshoe,  Tibenham

Thanks, Meliora.  Very useful.  Maybe John was still alive in 1911 and still licensee of the Greyhound.  Maybe it was the boy. 

I think that parish registers may also help here: deaths, for instance.

subdustricts for Depwade are  Diss, Fornett, Harleston & Statton.   Scole is adjacent to Diss.

There was a Three Horseshoes now known as Horseshoes in Billingford, Diss.   Held by a Mrs Rose Peake 1904 - 1929

Once again, thanks.  Yes, Yokel - I've seen that site.  The Rose Peake reference, Meliora, is new to me.

PS Are the Diss workshouse records available anywhere apart from in census (where refs. are only to  a certain periods within the particular year)?

If you go to the Norfolkpubs website, click on B in the All Norfolk page, then Billingford,Diss, then Three Horsehoes this will give you a list of all the licencees for the Pub.

Try googling Diss Workhouse, there are several sites that may help you re this query.
