Hi Sue

I found some bits for you

At Jame's marriage Thomas is given as a Fly driver (cab driver)

but I am fairly sure this is his baptism - from St Helens Abingdon

1819 April 19th James son of Thomas & Hannah Evans - weaver

they also had a daughter Susanna in 1817 - Thomas given as labourer
Hannah in 1822 Maria in 1824 and Henry in 1827.  Unfortunatly the registers don't give occupations for the Thomas at the last three baptisms.

I can't find a burial for Thomas, but Hannah was a widow by the 1851 census and Thomas is not present in the 1841 either,  though being a driver he could just have been away from home.  Hannah died in the workhouse and was buried 30th May 1867

There is a marriage - again St Helens
1811 Feb 25th
Thomas Eavns to Hannah Whale

I would have expected some children before Susannah - but I can't see them in Abingdon.

James was buried 13th June 1852 aged 34

Caroline remarried 1864 to William Jones

possible baptism for Thomas  1787 Nov 18th Thomas s/o John & Elizabeth Evans - Hemps dresser

Hi Debbie,
Thank-you so much for that information. I had been trying to find out about Caroline Jones as it gave her living with my gg grandparents in a census and i wasnt sure why. Great work cant thank you enough, another part of my tree complete.
