Hi - Looking for the birth of Anne Hall about 1815 Clackmannan.
She married Duncan McKenzie 04 Jun 1839 Clacks and had the following children.
Mary 24 Jun 1839, John 25 Mar 1841, Eliza 18 Jul 1843.
Assume Duncan died (cannot find) as she then married
William Jeffrey 29 Jul 1848 Clackmannan and had the following children.
Isabell 1847 (assume born before the marriage) William 1849, Thomas 1855, Anne 1859..
Possibility there are gaps in the IGI for this area as cannot find births for Anne Hall, Duncan McKenzie or William Jeffrey, Have them in the 1861 census or at least the Jeffrey family but nothing after.

Anyone have any clues please  Grin

Like you cannot see anything for Ann Hall's birth. If all else fails, she looks to have lived to a fine age, a death shows in 1891 (birth year 1817) for an Ann Hall/Jeffrey in Clackmannan.

What were Elizabeth's Hall's parents as showing on her death cert?

Again thanks Monica - Have her death cert. GRO466/00 0073.

Widow of William Jeffrey.  Parents William Hall (shoemaker) deceased and Mary Hall m.s Duncan, deceased. Informant William McDonald son-in-law.
Cause acute bronchitis.

Date 06 Dec 1891.

You were right she did live to a ripe old age.

Hi all - Hall saga continues -

William Hall married Mary Duncan 04 Nov 1798.

Had the following children. Not in chronological order.

Francis 02 Sep 1799, Isobel bap 23 Mar 1812, James 05 Dec 1800, Agnes bap 25 Feb 1816, John bap 17Sep 1814, Jean bap 23 Sep 1809, Jean bap 15 May 1819, Mary 14 Feb 1807, Janet 10 Feb 1805, William 29 Dec 1802.

Dammit...Still no Anne  Huh

Maybe that was where John Alexander Risk got the Duncanson from ?? Could not find any ref anywhere else.

Am still trawling through IGI  for the Hall's think I am going "boss"eyed, there are just so many in Clacks, but seeing the size of Clackmannan itself they must have all been related AAaagh  Tongue will sort itself out one way or 'tother.
Then of course we have Tilli and Dollar and I won't mention Alloa  Grin
