could anyone please tell me the whereabouts of a place called gortnaganny in ireland,is it in roscommon or galway?,thanks

See www.seanruad.com to find townlands and parishes in Ireland (be sure to change default setting from exact match to search for part of a name). Didn't see Gortnaganny in either Galway or Roscommon but each have a Gortnagoyne (pronunciation is probably very close to what you are looking for).

thanks for that aghadowey,i,ve found it,it,s spelt it gortaganny i should of dropped the first N it,s in boyounagh glenamaddy co. galway

There is also a Gortaganny near Castlrea in Co. Roscommon.
