Does anyone out there have any information on a Henry Trim born in Selton - presumably Silton - in Dorset, roughly 1793. His 3 daughters, including an Amelia, were born in North Brewham, Somerset in the 1820's. The four of them were living in North Brewham, 1841 census. No wife- presumably dead. In 1851 he was visiting a married Amelia in Radstock. Would appreciate any leads. Thanks.

I assume you have Henry in 1841 with "daughters " Amelia , Maria AND Julia (b.c.1839)
If this is the family , then it looks like Julia was Henry's granddaughter -and the daughter of Maria
There is a marriage Dec qtr 1843 Clutton -on same page Maria Trim, Simon Cottle
then
1851
Radstock Village
Simon Cottle Head M 33 mason Radstock
Maria Cottle wife 33 North Brewham
Julia Cottle daughter 12
Jonathan Cottle son 8
David Cottle son 6
Thursa daughter 4
Azubah? daughter 2
Reuben son 2 mths
HO107 1939 455 26
Henry was a widower in 1851- very possibly Amelia who he is visiting is his daughter -but I can't find a marriage??

Thanks for these answers. Yes, Julia was Maria's daughter born before she was married. I think I may have found Henry on the Dorset page you recommended; seems very likely that he was born 1790 to Mary Trim - and born out of wedlock as well. Thanks for the help.
