Isaac Taper - Can't find him

my Great Grandfather, John Bennett, born 1843 (illegitimate) in Sixpenny Handley, Dorset, married Sarah Ann Prince of Wimborne St Giles, Dorset in Sixpenny Handley 05 October 1865. On the marriage certificate John has nominated an Isaac Taper as his father. I cannot locate Isaac Taper in any Census or other record for Dorset. Any suggestions, please!

On the 1851 census for west Ashton, Wiltshire ref HO 107/1842,
there is a Isaac W Tapper living with his wife and son, and they have an 18 year old servant called Elizabeth Bennett. Isaac is 32, and a clergyman's lay assistant. Now, I'm not one to cast aspersions, but enough coincidences to be worth a look, perhaps?
Their address appears to be Brookbank Cottage, Garnbrook.
I looked for Taper/Tapper on the IGI, then cross checked on the Census.
