Anyone researching that name is going to have a lot of difficulty - looks like it was interpreted as a different name on every census.

It certainly looks like that but when you search freebmd - no one named Mahmore is listed - also on ancestry world tree - there are 2 - the lady in question and another one in the USA -so I guess the name must actually be something else - but what we are not sure.
