Looking for John Cornick on 1881 and 1891 censuses. He was born in York in c1844. On 1871 he is aged 27 and living at home, occupation Fitter at Railway Shops. At 1901 he is married (wife's name Easter born York) aged 57, occupation Steam Engine Maker/Fitter and living Garden Street, York.
I have been on familysearch 1881 census but cannot find him (maybe I need new glasses!). I have had a look on 'genes' 1891 census and a John Cornick comes up aged 47 living Micklegate but I do not have a subscription to enable me to look at the image. Could some kind soul please see if they can find him on censuses and let me have family details.
I have been on freebmd but cannot find his marriage to Easter. Hoping censuses will narrow the time gap.
With very many thanks.

Thank you for marriage information. Have made a note of it and will have to do some digging to see if Esther/Easter are the same person. If John turns up unmarried on 1891 then it could very well be right marriage.
Many thanks for your help.
Best wishes.

Thank you for finding him on 1891. He was lodging with the Dunns on 1881 (courtesy of Iria) so this is most likely to be him on 1891. Looks like, as you say, I have my marriage as well!
Many many thanks to you both.
All the best.
