According to NBI John Partridge was bur.3/4/1840 aged 67 and his wife Mary bur.18/10/1836 age 66.
The IGI shows umpteen entries for Partridge in Bozeat which have been submitted by member of LDS church. More than 1 possibility for a John bc.1772/3. As far as I could see, John and Mary had the following children:
William bp.4/5/1794 d.1794-1805
John bp.22/12/1799
Elizabeth bp.15/8/1802
William bp.9/6/1805
Will leave it up to you to pursue further.

Morning John
I am not that dedicated to drop everything and rush off and do requests except for
the other day when it was my error (not being rude).
I was already in Northampton and viewed Rootshat whilst in the library.
Can you note the lineage coming from your recent ancestor down.
John W Partridge wrote a book on Methodist's of Bozeat in 1924. He was also it
seems the village postmaster in the 1900's.
Anyway here are the marriage details for the people noted in the article.
Bozeat Parish Church Marriages
Pg 27 No 80 30 January 1794 By Banns
John Partridge of this parish and Mary Bettle of this parish
John signs with a very bold signature, Mary signs her mark.
The vicar seemed to have written Elizabeth Bettel and crossed
through Elizabeth and wrote Mary above.
Witnesses: Humphrey Bettel and William Wkyes who both signed their own names.
