Hi Danone,
St Marys Terrace is in Thringstone/Whitwick just up from the Rose & Crown pub on the opposite side of the road.
my mother was born in 206St Mary Terrrace in 1913

Small world my great aunt jessie and great uncle Alfred sykes  had the pub in the 1940's,

 Smiley :)Hi jan myaunt iris lives down the dumbs her name was sykes as well my aunt rose lived in old swannington across the road from the church then she and my uncle leigher moved to the flats facing the black horse but they have died since then ,no i havn't seen that one i will have a look at that .the row that you said is it the near the garage that stands back behind the bridge as you come down into thringston
if so i know were it is .if you see any thing on there that might be of interest would send to me  please

 Smiley :)my granmas dad was from ruddington nottingham i have seen the knitters muesum and have been a member there for a while now they send information to me when any one ask about the family id like visit one day its just getting time i know a few of the ladies in the libary i work in there sometimes on a tuesday afternoon when my parents go shopping i some times help poeple with the machines and things when the ladies are bussy you never know i may spoke to you when i have been in and not relised

This is St Mary's Terrace, the 3rd one down is no 206 where my mother was born  the grey coloured building

thanks for pictures at long last i can see were they came from.i have found herbertpage left home at 18 and worked in widness lancashire in the copper industry before he got married so not doing to bad again now i hope to be in the libary soon so you might see me i normly sit at one of the little machines next to the reader. hoe to see you soon
