Sutherland & Mcleod Eddrachilles help

Hi,
I'm new to this site & this is my first post. after a number of years research I've hit a brick wall with the parents of two of my ancestors.
I have been researching  Donald Sutherland born c1774 & Barbara McLeod born c1798 who were married in the parish of Eddrachillis, Sutherland on 21/03/1816 (REF OPR 049/0010 0047 )
The info states that Donald was resident at Badcaul, Loch Inchard & Barbara was a tenant in Scourymore. I have records of all their children after they moved to Dunnet in Caithness, and also the Census Records which state they were both born in Eddrachillis.
From Donald Sutherland's Death Certificates I have his parents Richard Sutherland ( Farmer) & Janet Gunn.. Barbara's parents were George McLeod ( Farmer) & Euphemia McKenzie.
However i've searched the parish records at the scottishpeople website & there is no records of Birth's or Marriages of any of their parents listed above.. Is this because the records are incomplete for this area of Sutherland or if not can anyone point me in a the right direction which would allow me to find the relevent  Birth & Marriage records of their parents around the mid to end of 1700's

welcome to rootschat
looks like you've done well to get back that far
checking the records on the IGI it seems that they only go
back to 1808 for eddrachillis
i'll have a look and see if i can find anything

Thanks very much for your prompt reply... I thought there must of been a reason why neither parents show up in the OPR details.

An interesting site, I've subscribed to the Sutherland Burials which hopefully will give me the information I'm looking for.
