Please could some one look at the 1841 and 1851 Census for
Ollerenshaw Hall, Chapel en le frith
William Thornhill and wife (Jane ?)  . William was dead by 1845 so his widow should just show on the 1851.

He was born in Wardlow a township of Hope, c1790.
He died May 1845

Sorry no. I only know he owned the Hall and died there in 1845. His wife (Not sure of name, but could be Jane) lived there before selling it.
Thanks for all your help. 
I will have to see if I can turn up anything else on him.

1841 census HO107/184/4 folio 8
Ollerenshaw Hall, township of Bradshaw Edge, Chapel-en-le Frith.
William THORNHILL aged 40 Ind (Independent) "Y"
Susannah THORNHILL aged 35 "N" not born in county.
also two female servants in the house.
