Good evening all,

Sorry I am late  but I just finished translating the latest posts in recent days.

Do not worry me to set a date, for my part I can not conceive of going to Liverpool without Annie, I'll wait as long as it takes, and like Mair I'll be spiritually with you if you decide to do a ceremony in the weeks ahead.

Here's a (poorly mixed) version...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGMNc8DEb8Y

The cadences on the last line of each verse are a bit odd...but still a good effort...

(for the technically minded...should be a IV-V cadence not the VI-IV it seems to be...)

You can hear it here...

Well it all makes sense now. Michel you are correct! Annie its up to you I totally agree. We can have the gathering when Annie can come, and Michel and the rest shall plan accordingly. The stone can be erected as officialdom do. Then organise a grand day for the gathering.
As polldoll quite eloquently puts "we've waited so long for this....a few months more is not going to make a real difference"
Over to the rest of you.
It is Annie and Michel's baby!

I think it's lovely that you'd be prepared to wait for us "Colonials " and I'm touched !  Smiley

What a "knees up" to look forward to ..... ( Kidsnana get in practice !!  Cheesy )

I'm putting the pennies in my "penny jar " as we speak !! ( there's a pub across the street as I recall !! ).....

Lynne ...... this may help the stonemasons not to feel any pressure and do the job in a wonderful way !! ( of course we know they'll do that anyways !!  Roll Eyes )

I've been checking the newspapers to see if anything has been written yet .... but I haven't found anything ... ( I wish they'd let us know without having to search every day !!  Roll Eyes ... but they probably won't !! ) so if anybody sees anything before me ... please yell !!

Annie  Smiley

PS With a bit of luck - Scrim won't be singing to us !!  Tongue

Thanks for very much for your e-mail. We were not aware of the story, so sorry you have sent it before without any response.

We have passed the details on to our "sister" team on the BBC Liverpool website, as they are able to do local features in more detail and have made our colleagues at Radio Merseyside aware of the story.

Thanks again for contacting us. If I, or my colleagues on the news team can help you with anything else, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Well Annie you have made my day! A knees up that will be, kidsnana will be thrilled, as I am sure everyone will be. The only problem I would see is the story losing momentum. If its too far down the line.
It does take pressure off everyone! Thanks polldoll for the delay suggestion and many thanks for the chivalry of Michel, what a gentleman. Annie get cracking! What a do to look forward too!
As long as its a weekend for all us workers!
How good is this going to be? I feel so excited now at the prospect, gosh knows how many will turn up now that Annie is coming!
I know she has lots of friends online!
best wishes all,

Hi Annie

Well that is good news!  Grin  I did wonder about North West Tonight because it's a half hour programme and loves local stories.   Anyone else like to volunteer to meet the cameras...?  I'm very shy.... no, really, I am!  I don't think the TV will come without a few people to film to be honest.

Maybe we should just set up 2 webcams for Annie and Michel to be interviewed!

I will still try to go along on the day of the fixing of the stone to film it regardless of whether the TV are there or not!  If anyone else is coming around that time let me know and I'll show you my posh hair do!   Roll Eyes

Are we leaving the bigger get together now until next year for Annie and Michel?

Hi Prison Officer tisgrannie reporting school holidays as recorded in previous message. 26th -30th may.
I would like to point out if you had the children we have to work with you would be happy with half terms once a month! No joking!
You probably respected your teachers way back then !!  Cheesy
Its a shame that we didn't get a bit of a rush from the stonemasons considering the advertisement they will get!
Its not sour grapes but they could push it forward a little bit! Considering.
regards all
tisgrannie

Hi Tisgrannie

I was actually terrified of my teachers and our Headmistress was a dragon but there were a few teachers who were lovely and consequently I did well in their subjects.  They made a terrible time in my life slightly more bearable, a time from which I escaped aged 16 like I was being set free!

I think you deserve a medal for your work.  It's not a job I could ever do, so Well Done!  I'm sure you would have been one of my favourites!

Aw thank you, I get cuddles every day and young lads stop their cars to say Hi Miss. The cheeky lads seem really genuine. One must have only been about 18 and he was driving his wife!!!! He was thrilled to introduce me! I filled up! They grow so quickly!
I hope that the "meet" is still this year!
Hope all is well with you, thanks for your continued work MissM you seem to have a job on here I guess you figured that out!
If its the weekend when the stone is up I will come over and stand with you, check your hairstyle out as well. Its not a blue rinse is it? Oh my goodness I bet it is! Cheesy

Hi Lynne,

I missed the original search and have struggled to keep up with this thread but if I can get about 2 weeks notice, I can certainly get time off w*rk and come up to Liverpool for fixing ceremony with my camera.
