I can find no trace of the deaths of this family. I know that Harriet Ann (aged about 28) and her 2 children Ambrose about 8 years and Annie about 4 years, drowned in Goole dock 15 Dec 1871 but can't find any official records. I have no idea what happened to her husband Robert. Does anyone have anything that might help me find him?

You would probably have to find out what local newspapers were in production at the time. I think there's 2 Goole Times and Goole Courier, but  don't know when they started publishing. They must have had one at the time  Or try these
