Thank you for any help
|
Francis Groom was an Engine Driver, he was born in 1848 at Wellington, Shropshire. His parents were Francis Groom 1805 and MARY Ann Timms, [his second wife] they were married at Dawley. October 24 1825. Francis Groom 1848 died a very premature death age 35 years old in the June quarter of 1853.He was married to Olive Hipkiss in the June quarter 1874 at Walsall. They had four children and were living at 6 Broughton Square, Saint Julian, Shrewsbury. The railways were quite a new innovation at that time and there were many accidents. Can anyone please help. Did he die as a result of an accident or was there another reason? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks, Eric.

Hi, Many thanks for your help. I made a right pigs ear of the dates, it's good that you are telepathic and able to read my mind. Many thanks, Eric.
