The above Richard Groom was born about 1789, according to the 1821 AND 1841 Census's. He was living in or around New Street, Wellington, Shropshire and was employed as a basket maker and timber yard manager
Can any one please help  me?. Who were his parents? Did he have brothers and sisters? Any other help would be gratefully appreciated.
He married a Catherine Pinnock at Eyton Upon the Weald Moors, Shropshire on March 2nd 1802. the Vicar refusing to marry them in Wellington, because they had chosen to worship as Non Conformists, instead of in the Church.

For future reference:

John Groome of Wombridge, Oakengates 1663
John Groome farmer of Wellington 1678 and
Margaret Groome farmer of Wellington 1683

all have inventories at Lichfield.
