Knowing your relatives are in the book is even bettter because my mum knew her great aunts well and in a small village like eardisley oral history was still passed down think i will be the last genertion tho .Her aunts died  in their 90s in the 60s when my mum was 20ish so she may remeber some thing useful  to you their father was also in his nintiesw when he died in the 30s and had lived in the area all his life
so i will see - the bloke who lived next door to us teddy had owned a gold mine in S africa -he had no close relatives -so if i discover something that makles you rich you will remember me won't you lol Grin.

There is another book called Eardisley Characters and Capers which is oral and social history from the last century.
