Fishing for Bullivants in Bridlington
« on: Wednesday 05 December 07 13:37 GMT (UK) »

There seems to be connections to Bridlington for my Bullivant ancestors but other than one fleeting connection and family wobbly recollections I don't know what. Richard Arthur Bullivant moved there in 1882 with his heavily pregnant wife and their first child Getrude was born there some 5-6 months after their marriage in Leeds in Dec 1882. They moved on after a couple of years.  Anthony Graham Bullivant my father in law went with his parents before the 2nd World War.  They lived there a short time at a house called Bullivant Villas.  Neither Richard nor Anthony's family were wealthy enough to build a house so who built the house?
