was arthur born edindburgh ?

arthur hughes b1843 edinburgh patient
edinburgh city hospital for infections disease
1891 census
but his occupation is bookbinder

did they have any children ?

ps theres a death for arthur hughes west calder 1888 on
scotlandspeople.
also children(including a catherine born 1880) staying with
someone else
do you have jane's derth cert. ? is she widowed ?
i take it his first wife sarah died 1882 west calder

1881 census arthur hughes(born c1839 ireland) shale miner lived with wife sarah gallagher(not sure of spelling)(born ireland c1845)
6 children
at 87 gavieside row west calder midlothian
if you search on igi you should find a marriage(renfrewshire) and the births for some of the children
now i think according to scotlandspeople that sarah died in 1882 west calder
then arthur and jane married 1884
they had children , then aurthur died 1888 west calder followed by
jane 1890 west calder
so on the 1891 census the children are boarding with a mckenzie family
the link being one catherine hughes age 4months( child of the 1st marriage)
on the 1881 census and age 10 on the 1891 census
you will have to check this out

i'm sorry i can't help you more at the moment but i'm doing this on a new computer
trying to reload my family trees and website subscriptions
