No. We've only been married 5 years although we seem to have known each other a lifetime. The kids and grandkids are from a previous incarnation. And you're right, she reads all my emails. I was just putting on my Les Dawson act for Geoff when I said why break the habit of a lifetime. I'll play on the Aah factor when I tell you I married her in the same hotel (in Scotland) as her mum and dad married in and we "reproduced " the photos at the door of the hotel and in the garden. It was a hard job as the hotel didn't wan't to help so I had to do all the registration and the fire certs etc but I'm just an old romantic at heart! Cool

I have just found out that James Maghie was married twice his first wife was Mary ( Lowthian ) not sure if this is correct can anyone help me there is also a daughter Elizabeth found I think in the 1841 census .could someone look this up for me

Thanks Geoff,

I think his age might be wrong as James was killed in Aug 1867 aged 49 yrs I have the death certificate.

He must have been widowed as
he remarried in 1847 at Gretna Green to Ann Young .Ann was only 14 years old when they eloped
Are there any Young's living in Brisco as their first child was born there she was Maria Maghie born 1848
