Hi Kama
OPR results definately no record of a marriage of a James Cockburn to a Margaret Wood in Scotland BIRTHS George 9 Sep 1722, he married Agnes lawrie 23 May 1747 Barbara 27 Sep 1724 she married William orkney 20 May 1748 Robert 17 Aug 1729 he probably married Agnes Thomson, and Giles Shiell Mary 23 Jan 1732 Helen 24 Nov 1734 Elisabeth 23 Oct 1737
At the same time in Innerwick I found John Cockburn married to Margaret Richardson daughter Margaret born 8 Dec 1723 also John married to Isobel Meigle son John born 8 Dec 1735
George and Agnes Lawrie children William 26 Jun 1748 Agnes 8 Apr 1750 Margaret 9 Jun 1753 James 29 Mar 1756
Robert and Giles Children Giles 6 Aug 1761
Robert and Agnes children Alison 2 Oct 1763 Barbara and Margaret 5 Dec 1765 Margaret 20 Mar1768 James 24 Jun 1770 Hope this did not duplicate too much and gets you farther on
Spacot

Hi Lynn, Another favour please when you have time. Bess / Elspet Sinclar / Sinklar (various spellings) Wife of William Sives / Sibbet / Sivice (lots of variations of this).
I've also posted here http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=350775.new#new
Happy New Year to you and many thanks for previous look ups.
