Thank you very much for that. I will check it out further. I cannot find ELIZABETH (mother) or WILLIAM BARDSLEY after 1871. BARDSLEY is such a common name there.

Sorry, it is 1861 I can't find them after. 1861 census shows WILLIAM,59, ELIZABETH , 49, Mangle Keepers, with their daughters LYDIA ANN, 15, MARY JANE, 12, ELIZABETH, 8, at 29a Tib St., Manchester.
