Are you sure that it is the same Oliver Richards? this one was born in 1886 which would make him 67 when he married in 1952

yes, I think it's a possibility,.... but how to know Huh?? if the "first" mariage it's true, it was a real secret for him ! in french family nobody know it !

They were married on May 27th 1904 in Kington, and there is a possibility of a child registered the next year called William Richards.

You really need the Certificate for this one to check out the details he gave.

Did he have other children in France ?

You really need to get a copy of his marriage certificate I think there will be a good chance Liviah died and he was a widow.
