My wife has paid for a month's subscription to the Guardian Digital Archive and needs to download over fifty articles featuring her grandfather.Unfortunately it is going to be a long winded process on her laptop, which runs vista, as all the articles have to be re-sized before printing (to fit them on one page) and saving them to file as html often produces a folder with the article split into sections within!
When I used my mum's computer, which is xp, the site worked like a dream- one click and the article printed, one click and it was saved.Unfortunately my wife finds it difficult to get out, and I am not too good with computers( as you probably can guess !), does anyone out there have any experience of Guardian archive and windows vista ? She only has two weeks sub left and has a lot more research to do!
