Do you have any census info. Any idea where the Howard/Sucker marriage took place? It looks like Matthew may have married again, will post details if you haven't got them.

This looks like the second marriage, from Suffolk Marriage Index.

Matthew HOWARD - wid.
Susan HAYLOCK - wid

21st September, 1835 - Tuddenham St. Mary

Can't see a marriage to Hannah Sucker, so can only presume, they weren't married in Suffolk.

This looks like Hannahs death from the National Burial Index

First name: Hannah
Last name: HOWARD
Date of burial: 15 Feb 1831
Age at death: 40
Place of burial: Tuddenham St Mary

Hi Paul

Just to add what Sue has put, looks like he was born 1791 Chippenham, Cambridgeshire according to the 1851 census, so might be worth posting on the Cambridgeshire board.

Think I've found it on Family History Online, Camb baptism index.

Matthew HAYWARD, bap. 5th November, 1792 at Chippenham, Cambs. son of Matthew and Hannah.
