Can anyone please look up the marriage of Joseph McGrath and Annie Pratt? On these records, does it state their parent's names?

There are 2 births possible for Joseph;
v1849926 66/ 1849 parents Dudley and Ann
v18472680 64/1847 parents Joseph and Margaret
Nothing I can find for Ann/Anne/Annie Pratt in N.S.W.
If you buy the Marriage cert. all info should be on it.

Hi,
I believe they died somewhere in Victoria; well Joseph at least. He may have died Malvern East approximately 1923. I'm not sure if Joseph immigrated: then his parents could possibly be Richard McGrath and Ann Maher but that's old information and through research things have been proven wrong. trish1120 I was wondering if they were it too with the births. Thanks

Well looking through NSW BDM, Dudley and Ann may be his parents! Hippee!! Actually looking at Vic BDM site there is only one matching record when Joseph McGrath and parents: Ann Maher and Richard McGrath are enter. So he could have immigrated; what do you reckon?

Hi woodelf,
Looks like you are going well with your search and I hope you will not mind if I make a suggestion to streamline things.
If you are inquiring about one person or even one couple, there is no need to have a seperate thrread for each of their events [ie birth, marriage, death, immigration]
It actuallly makes it harder for helpers if there are too many seperate posts about one person as the left hand may not know what the right hand is doing.

Augustus Bede McGRATH died 1971 in Prahran Victoria Aged 93 Reg: 12862
parents: Joseph McGRATH & Ann PRATT
He was born in Newtown NSW 1878 Reg: 4617/1878
Only Annie is listed as Mother, no father - this often means the father was no long around.

Do you mind if I ask one more thing before added completed to this board? Seeing as it is in the same area, NSW, I was wondering if someone could look at NSW birth records after 1906? I was wondering if an Angus McGrath is listed with parents Augustus Bede and Johanna Antonia.
I already know that they had three children born in NSW:
Edward Pigeon b. 1906, Rockdale
Eileen Margaret b. 10 Oct 1907, Spring St, Arncliffe, NSW
AND
Norman Stanley b. 4 Sep 1909, Arncliffe, NSW
The final child, Ronald James was born in South Australia:- 11 Nov 1917, St Peters.
I am trying to estimate when they moved to South Australia.

I had a look at The Sands Directory for NSW and it shows Augustus McGrath resided in Rockdale from 1905 to 1910 ( 1910 was at Spring Street, Rockdale).
