Look up Banstead Surrey

Hi
Is there anyone who lives near Banstead Surrey.
My father died at Hundred Acres, Banstead in 1976. I understand that at that time Hundred Acres was a hospital or something like that. Can anyone give me any details.

I live near Banstead and can confirm that the link above is the correct hospital and no longer exists.

I am not sure exactly what records Surrey History Service   contains but I have taken this from their catalogue

Many thanks for the information.
I did contact the History Group they were very helpful. They did not give me the restriction on the information.
My father died at Hundred Acres in 1976. The death certificate does not mention the word hospital.
I was wondering if he lived there as an ex member of staff or a patients.
The London Metropolitan Achieves hold the records.
Whether now he dead and as I do not want detailed personal information they will be able to tell I do not know.
