c1794 Carlisle birth/baptism: Joseph STODDART

Hi all,

The 1851 census puts the birth year of Joseph STODDART at 1794 and his birthplace as 'Carlisle'. This is all the information I have to go on and have not been able to find any birth/baptism records for him.

I would be most grateful if anyone could find any possible birth/baptism records for him.

The 1851 image appears to have Joe's age as 51 - the 7s on the page appear to me quite different.

That's a good point. I never noticed that.

I looked for his birth/baptism around 1800 but still no luck.
