Look up - Marriage in Brampton 1812

I wonder if someone could look this up for me please. I have I think posted this wrongly in the Westmorland section first: 

Richard Proctor Clifford allegedly married to Jane Elliot in Brampton in 1812. 

The Banns were read apparently in April 1812 but no record of the marriage can be found. 

There was a child born Joseph Clifford in 1813 in Brampton.

Any help would be great.  Thanks very much.

can see on igi joseph clifford baptized 10th october 1813 brampton
cumberland england
father richard proctor clifford mother jane
batch number starts with a "P" not the usual "C"
can't see a marriage
on rootsweb family tree by "jocelyn"
"banns of his marriage to jane elliot published in brampton church on
12th, 19th, 26th april 1812 but no record of them being married there
they lived in the parish of wetheral at this time"

ps i see from an earlier post you already have this info,  if your
     not "jocelyn" perhaps you could get in touch as they seem
     to have cliffords from cumberland/westmorland
