Marriage : Sam & Florrie Spencer 1915

Can anybody shed any light on a marriage between a Sam and Florrie Spencer on 24/12/1915? (maiden name, names of parents, etc) They apparently lived at 9 Rawston Court, Lapping Road, Bradford.

I am researching a Sam Spencer from Cleckheaton, born at the same time, and I wondered if they were one and the same. Huh

The only way that you'll probably get that info would be to purchase the marriage certificate unless you can organise a search of the local church/chapel registers in that area at that time.  Even then, if the couple married in the registry office then the only way to see the details is to purchase a certficate.

Saying that, might there be a slight chance that the marriage was in the bmd column of the local newspaper - usually only if they were better off or well known in the local community?

Where did you get the marriage date from?  Are there no clues from that source?
