I beleive that my ancestor, Thomas Carpenter, (date of birth unknown but who was married in Kenn on 23 May 1695 to Elizabeth Pierce), could be the son of  Thomas Carpenter, born 1670 at Kenn, (no parents mentioned on the IGI), but who in turn could be the son of Thomas Carpenter and Johan, married in Kenn circa 1647. Thomas and Johan had two children, both called Thomas (one was christened and died at Kenn in 1644, and the other christened 10 Feb 1648).
I am hoping that someone could check the Kenn parish records to confirm what I believe and fill in the blanks as far as christening or birth dates go. Also, if there is any further information on Johan.
