I myself have been trying to research this farm as my family were believed to have farmed there, i think it may have been after 1910 tho, i am descended from the Lavenders. I have an old Sutton history book that states that a Lavender family moved in and had Oldfield House built for them around 1840 but there is no mention of a Lavender family living there or the farm in any of the census reports. My ggGrandmother was born in 1910 and she said that she grew up on a farm where the Rosehill roundabout is now (which would be oldfields). I've not myself seen any pictures of Oldfields farm but i know Sutton Library does have a copy of a painting of it.
