Help please - I am trying to find the parents of Charlotte Pantling, born 1791 in Leighton Buzzard, married Robert Lancaster in 1812. Lived in 1851 in Leighton Buzzard, 1861 in Egginton. Died in Leighton Buzzard in 1864. Also if anyone can find Charlotte and Robert in the 1841 census.
I have tried to find brothers and sisters via IGI, but so far no luck.

Looking on the IGI there is an extracted marriage for a William Pantling to Charlotte Warner in Leighton Buzzard 7 Jul 1825. The girl children seem to have been baptised Eaton Bray Wesleyan and the boys Egginton - if this is your Charlotte's father in a second marriage maybe she was non-conformist too? One of the girls is Eunice born 1826 - interesting in that your Charlotte also names a child Eunice.
There is a marriage for a Wm Pantling to Elizab Perry in Soulbury Bucks 18 NOV 1790 which would fit for dates for a first marriage and Soulbury is only a couple of miles from Leighton Buzzard. There is only one likely baptism showing for this William and Elizabeth - Dinah Pantlin 11 MAR 1798 in Eggington.

This may or may not be of interest to you, but I have a Susan Pantling in my tree, born in Eggington abt 1800. She married William Dumpleton in 1820 in Leighton Buzzard.

I'm afraid not. She lists her place of birth as Eggington in the 1851 census, but there is no baptism for her there on the IGI, tho that doesn't mean much! She's not a direct ancestor of mine, but you never know what may help someone else!

I'll have a look at the census - I'm sure she must fit in the family somewhere.........especially as she comes from the same village as my Pantlings......could be a cousin of some sort!! I'll have a dig around and let you know what I find.
