Wedding Photo Vernan Arms Stockport c1918

Anybody recognize any of this wedding party? The photograph was taken in the yard of the Vernan Arms Public House in Stockport, just near the market, around 1918. The landlord, standing back row, is James Sheehan, my grandfather. The young girl bottom right is my mother, Kathleen Sheehan and next to her is Mrs Slattery. The little boy bottom left is my uncle Jim Sheehan and behind him is a customer, Mrs Siddely. The photograph was taken by Taylor Bros. (Principal Lancashire Towns). My grandmother died in 1918 and they left the pub shortly after so this would date it around the end of WW1. Any ideas on who the bride & groom could be? Jim

Have you ever posted this on the photo restore board?  They can work wonders over there, it would clean up lovely I should think.

The wedding would have been at The VERNON ARMS    Vernon is an important Stockport name e.g. Vernon Park in the town.
