inquiry about green & crow in st cyrus

I've just started researching my fathers family and there is a marriage connection betwen these 2 families, Samuel married Eliza. The families then lived in Kirktown area of St Cyrus. I've since traced the line back to 1703, between 3 different parishes, Benholm, Fordoun, Johnshaven. In the register i've found a mention of crookyden but can't trace the place anywhere, any help greatly appreciated.
