I believe this could be my John Duthie who became a hairdresser in Aberdeen. He married Bathia Duthie, daughter of John Duthie and Bathia Fyfe.

Hi Andy

I'm interested in this John Duthie too. I think he was the son of William Duthie and Christian Leslie (based on age and profession) and was born 7 April 1781. He was a hairdresser, as was his father-in-law and his son. There was another John Duthie b. 1786/7 who remained single and was a patient advocate at an asylum. He was brother-in-law to our John.
