I am looking for any info on a Thomas Monkester/Moncaster in possibly the Louth area. he married a Susanna ? and had 8 Children. On the marriage lines of his daughter Elizabeth's second marriage in 1874, Thomas occupation is listed as a Parish Clerk deceased.

and had 8 Children.

Names and dates would help please.

Posted afterwards

Having checked the IGI I'm assuming that the obvious children who were born between 1810 and 1829 makes me suspect you have the census information.

Alan,

1841 Census, South Somercotes
Thomas Moncaster, 59, Ag Lab,  b.Lincs
Susan, 58, b.Lincs
John, 11, b.Lincs

White's Directory for 1842 - South Somercotes:
"Moncaster, Thomas, parish clerk"

Looks like South Somercotes is your place, 8 miles from Louth.

Hope this helps.

David.
