I am seeking information on:
Henry DILLON b: 1850 in Listowel, Ireland he died in 1937, Pahiatua, NZ aged 87yrs. He moved to NZ at the aged of 19yrs. He married Kate EGAN (don't know date). Kate was an Irish girl from a large family of EGANS living in Pahiatua.

I have some information on thier lives in NZ but trying to find out info before he left Ireland.

Any help greatly accepted.

My family is from Lisselton, Kerry, near Listowel. There are Dillons in Lisselton. Perhaps you may wish to check this area.

Hi Maellan,
Thank you for your reply...I am fairly new to this research stuff so any help is greatly appreciated...How do I go about checking the Lesselton area?
What I plan to do is : I have sent off for the marriage cert to NZ for Henry DILLON and Kate EGAN and see if the father's are mentioned on the certificate then I was going to post the info out to the group.
