Hi,
Another lookup for you guys. I have a great-uncle Norman Stanley McGrath who died in Mount Gambier but I am unsure when. I have been told that he was discharged from the army on 24 February 1940 because of tuberculosis. The family thought that by moving from Darwin, where he was, to Mount Gambier it may help his health but unfortunately this was not the case. Thank you.

Thanks deeiluka, if it's no trouble can I ask you to look something else up too? All Norman's brothers also lived in South Australia; Edward Pigeon (m. Gwen), Ronald James (m. Linda) and possibly Angus (born poss. South Australia?) I have no idea when they died, if it's not trouble to you; could you help me find out? Thanks for your speedy reply.

Death index goes to 1972, but none of the brothers appear on it. I checked the SAGHS Cemetery Index and Newspaper Index at
http://www.saghs.org.au/graves.htm
but there was no sign of any of them there either.

According to my family tree if it's right, (I've been proved wrong!) Ronald James should have died in Morgan, SA but they're not conformists are they? My dad, who just called doesn't even know when his uncle's died but says in South Australia somewhere!!! Oh deeiluka that'd be my Angus!!

I tried checking Morgan Cemetery but had no success. Of course they may still have been alive after 1972, so they could have died in South Australia and we just can't access the information.
