I have found an old marriage certificate for William Stephenson Swift who was 22 when he married in 1869 in Hull. It also says his father robert was deceased. He was marrying Mary Constance King who was aged 20. I have tried to find him in the 1881 census but can't find any record of him but believe i have found his wife and daughters living in durham. i wondered if anyone can help to track him down. Thanks

Do you have access to 1851, I think this might be him aged 4, although hes been transcribed as aged 11 -
HO107/2360 Folio 592 Page 4
Let me know if you need full transcription, will look on other censuses....

1871 RG10/587 Folio 29 Page 3, with wife Mary C and daughter Minnie A
(as hes a ship engineer in 1871, this may explain where he is in 1881)
Is this the 1881 you have for wife and 2 children? RG11/5011 Folio 6 Page 5 - 51 Eleanor Street, Westoe, Durham
1891 RG12/3943 Folio 36 Page 23 with wife and children Ruby and Vincent

I don't have access to the 1851 census so the transcript would be great. Also any transcripts from the 1891 and 1901 censuses would be great. and that is the 1881 that i have as well. Thanks.

Yes where do you want to start. My Aunt Marjory (age 86) calls Constance her Aunt Poppy. I Think I have Photos but i am not sure. I Have no photos of William swift But i do of Vincent. My Grandfather. How do we contact each other other than on this site. My wife and i would love to make contact.
