Hi Im need to try and locate some births after 1906, but it appears the Scotland Peoples website only records up to 1906.
Any advice on where I go from here?
Many thanks Jayne

Hi Jayne
It's a bind, isn't it
You could try GROS in Edinburgh:
http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/bdm.html
or some of the larger Cities do have all the Scottish records post 1906 - Aberdeen, for example.
Steve - Piglet01 has access. I'll PM him

hi jayne
i contacted dundee registrar about a birth in dundee in 1913 they were very helpful and gave details over the phone i would have been happy with that(free ) as it was for someone else we ordered the cert.(13.50) it was mainline and money was no object( wish that was me) when we went to get the cert i'm sure i overheard something about paying 50 pounds and getting 2 hours access to the records now if anyone can explain this correctly and this search would include records after the scotlandspeople cut off or if your starting off a tree then it might be worth thinking about any rootschatters heard of this ?

Hello
Aberdeen Registrars site
http://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/ACCI/web/site/Births/ResourcesManagement(Registrars)/bir_genealogy.asp
They charge £15 per hour - very friendly and professional. Give you the BMD records up to date, census to 1901 and also the OPR - for the whole of Scotland. You''ll save £££ if you contact them. They're very friendly and professional.. You'll get a significant amount in 1 hour.
Regards, Steve :O)
