Hi Laura,
Had a quick look on my Uppingham fiche and found;
Lyon, son of Mr Wm Falkiner, Gentleman baptised 5 July 1729.
I will keep looking for Faulkener, Falkiner occurrences around this period in Uppingham for you.

Difficult to read mind

Mathew 15 Jul 1744
all above son/dau of Lionel & Ann
1744 is the last entry for baptisms.
No burials for parents up to 1781. As far as Essendine burials go I'm afraid.
Would hazard a guess they were married before 1721. No record in the Rutland marriage index 1700 onwards. Outside of Rutland .
Did find this earlier in register.

That's about it really fiche extremely hard to read in places. Looks like the Mother was from Tinwell, tiny little village between Stamford, Lincs and Ketton, Rutland.
