A while ago in answer to another query a rootschatter gave me information about a Mary Smith in Stockton on Tees. I didn't follow it up at the time but I would like to now.
According to the 1891 census there was a Mary Smith born in Richmond, aged 14 living in Stockton on Tees. The rootschatter didn't give anymore information. If possible I would like to know more information on the people who were living with her.
A cousin thinks that Mary Smith had relations called Robinson & I am trying to make a connection. I have no more information that would be relevant to the search in 1891 about Mary Smith.
I do have a birth cert. for her daughter Minnie Smith who was born in Leeds in 1896. At that time Mary was unmarried & working as a Domestic Cook. While I couldn't find Mary Smith on the 1901 census I did find her daughter Minnie Smith she was living in Stockton on Tees at 2 Comblin? Street RG13/46 26 910. She was living with Edward Robinson age 26 unmarried from Leeds, Lillie Smith his niece!! age 25 a housekeeper born in Richmond, his daughter Anne Robinson age 4 and his niece Minnie Smith age 5 born in Leeds.
Lillie Smith & Mary Smith maybe one & the same, which is why I would like some more information on the family members of Mary Smith 1891.
Thank you in anticipation
Lousie

Thank you for the information, I wasn't expecting such a quick reply. I will look at it over the Christmas holidays and see if I can find any clues in it.
Thanks once again,
