dont know the area too well, but i dont think there are any graveyards in ruddinton. i remember there is one in the village of wilford adjacent to wilford church. there is a larger graveyard at wilford hill cemetery in west bridgford nottingham, i would think this is the one that would serve the ruddington area.

Not quite true. No idea whether the burial ground is still there but Genuki describes it as being just outside the village
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/NTT/Ruddington/index.html
A quick search on the Nottingham Archives site tells me it holds burial records for St Peter Ruddington from 1754 to 1974.
Afraid the burials are not well transcribed (Notts FHS has only transcribed 1813-1818), but the registers are there to be searched.
Heather

Dear Danone,
I live in France and I am going to visit my Grandfather who lives in Ruddington, last week of February 2008. I will be going to the grave yard to see the burial place of my Auntie. Who are you looking for ?
