In a further attempt to find the family of Matilda Drake  request look up in 1841 census. She was born about 1831-2 in Romansleigh but by 1851 was working in the Union Workhouse at South Molton. any help with her parents, siblings etc greatly appreciated.

There is a family of Drake in Romansleigh .. headed by George, a Farmer and Mary ...
BUT the 10 year old daughter is a Mildred (clear on original)

OK thanks a very much for the info. I know it's not a lot to go on but her children's first names include George and Mary so it's a definite maybe. Do you have a url for access to the PRs? I have one for a lot of Somerset parishes if you are interested.
